zomg this isn't a fire emblem game!

So recently I've been playing Tearring Saga and honestly this game is super great. If this game was an actually FE game it would definitely be in my top 5. It's sort of a mixture between FE5 (without the bullshit) and FE2. I'm only about halfway through the game. It made bows actually good (and even has an archer lord). My main complaints besides the translation drastically decreasing in quality after map 10, is that after the first couple maps it takes like an hour to go through each map and how like 70% of my team has a chronic problem of having no-stat level ups.

So yeah, you guys should go play this game.

hmm, yeah I don't like emulating in general so just knowing that I'd have to do that is a downer

and I'm not in a mood for anything FE-like

how is the actual story? and what about the graphics? is the translation like... really bad or just not very good (after map 10 anyway)? a mix of FE5/FE2 doesn't sound terrible (albeit maybe not modern enough for my tastes...), in fact it sounds like it has potential, so I'm actually a bit curious, but I'm still not sure if I'll ever play this game, forget anytime soon...

From what I've seen the plot seems pretty standard FE. I'm a little lost on what's happening myself honestly. The translation isn't really bad more like formatted terribly. While the actual translation does have a drop because of the translator change, stuff like spacing errors and empty text boxes (mostly death quotes but I did have one scene that was completely empty) ramp up in frequency. Stuff like "I want to feel how wine tastes" happens more. One thing I do like about the plot is the character events. Since actual support convos aren't a thing the characters have scenes that develop them a little bit (Like a death battle between Shigen and Vega).

Graphics are pretty nice. animations are cool and they have a sound to them that makes the hits actually feel powerful.

Hm, I might have to put it on my list. I've got a long list as it is, but I've been meaning to play this for a while, and I'm assuming there's a translation now.
