alright i'm here to beg for help again, i'm working on a multitude of character mugs right now and i'm coming across a problem with one of them so i figured i'd ask someone else to maybe give me a good reference as to how to do it(or if anyone is feeling especially generous do it for me?) the mug i'm having the biggest problem with right now is a adult Amelia. i'm horrible at splicing hair, and if you've ever seen any of my custom work you know that trying to do hair by hand is out of the question for me. anyway if somebody has a mug similar to an older Amelia i would greatly appreciate seeing it.

I'm afraid that I can't help you with sprite splicing, but I do wish you luck with your project as a whole. I've always been looking forward to a well-done FE8 pre/sequel.

I can't guarantee well made at all. Also it's not really a sequel anymore, along the way it was changed to an awakening type thing with the children coming from the future and stuff like that.

Hey I'm back to working on this again. Little request, can someone make me a character that could be joshua and natasha's son? I tried to do it and got a little confused about where I was going with it.

Progress update: I'm up to chapter 5 now (still buggy between chapters unfortunately) I did work out a few problems I had with other stuff though. Namely the one where the Archer trainee promoted directly into third tier classes.

rom data corrupted...no backup because i'm a dumbass...most of the stuff i've already done is gone because...actually i can't remember why that stuff is gone. anyway i put in one of GreatKnightAna's portraits



named him Dahren because you didn't give him a name Ana, if you have a name you perfer though i'll use that. it is your character after all. oh yeah, sorry about the delay, i know i said i would get something up a few days ago, but monster hunter 4 came in and i kinda got wrapped up in that...totally worth it.

Alright I finally found the right board and that seems cool. Do you need any specific character requests? I've got lots of free time to make sprites, I really don't worry about school all too much anymore.

I've been working on a battle sprite for a female berserker, but I don't have anything in the way of a mug yet. If you make something like that I'd love it.

Do you have any specific ideas for their face? If you want a grizzled look, I'll probably just end up doing a slight Vaida edit. If you can, I'm gonna describe a couple different ideas I have for this one, tell me what you prefer-

body choices numbered, hair choices lettered (Click Here To Hide/Show Text)

1. A scarred, war-worn fighter. She used to be a captain in the military, as evidenced by armor ripped from and based off of sprites of captains/commanders.
2. A lowborn pirate-type of girl, who made her own armor out of hand-me-downs and hard work- I'll rip bits and pieces from all over.
3. An arena champion who has a personal blacksmith that forges the best armor for her. I'll try doing a more unique look to the armor, by ripping apart a lot of different sprites to mix it up and make something new.

A. Short hair, tomboyish.
B. Long hair, wild and straight down.
C. Long hair, noble and styled with some waves.

I like the idea of a pirate girl with short hair, But I'll finish the battle sprite to match whatever you end up going with. To be perfectly honest I want you to just do whatever feels right when you're making it. I've noticed when I try to force something it doesn't go well.

That's great. I'll be replacing amelia with her so it won't see much play time for awhile. I'm actually regretting replacing the fighter trainee anims now though XD. Luckily I still have them somewhere. Anyway once I get my female fighter/berserker battle sprite finished I'll put her in right away.

people's lower lip doesn't stay locked in place when they speak. the mug wouldn't look weird if you flipped the mouth vertically so it wouldn't look weird. because objectively speaking it looks quite weird.

actually that might work to my advantage here. it almost looks like she's sneering when she talks so if i write her personality to something that fits that it'll be fine thematically

not at the moment. i need to remake my old stuff and get them in the game. and i need to remember how i got the archer trainee thing working.
