This is the place to find a tutor to help you learn something. It's one-on-one help so they can answer your questions and guide you along. Below are the list of tutors and links to their profiles so that you can find them and contact them to get help.

You don't have to get a tutor to get help though; if you just have a question or two, make a thread and somebody will hopefully respond to your question. In order to get a tutor, please PM, e-mail, or instant message them, and use that to communicate with them (or feel free to make a thread just for the two people [the tutor and the student]).

There are also different levels of tutorship.

Advanced includes maps, events, and other things on par with them.

Intermediate includes graphics, portraits, text, and things on par wih them.

Beginner includes using Nightmare, aspects of emulation, and other things.

Please sign up to be a tutor if you are experienced enough, but only do it if you are active enough on the forum and have enough time to help them; I don't want anybody to have to be denied a tutor for learning hacking because they are too busy, or the tutor to be too busy to ever help them. D:

I can go intermediate with FE6

Beginner included, or no?

(Also, I'm not in the other levels and games because I don't have the time to teach them, they aren't my priorities, sorry)

Umm. I think I can teach intermediate and beginner for FE7 and 8.

I would like to start over from the beginning again if that is possible of course. I know how to change stuff in nightmare so I don't need to learn much about that but I want to continue again.

I lost all stuff that is needed for hacking but found some on this site again (thanks!) this is what I still miss:

Mappy <------ Can probably find on google easily
Hex editor <---- I believe HxD was a good one but not sure, don't want to download worthless things this time.
TileSet for mappy <------ Fe7 only

Text editing (fe7, don't need fe8 one yet)

I am pretty sure I need WAY more then that I have but I can only remember those so help is greatly appreciated. I will search for mappy again but I need to be sure if HxD was a good one before I download it.

First of all, added you Derek/Kinesthesia, seond of all, make a topic including what you just said and we'll help you out there, if you want a tutor, well considering I'm the only one here who knows maps, I suppose I would be the only one who could help you with that, but first make another topic so we can get you the utilities you need.

I wish I could help you once lol but that won't happen for a while I guess. Anyway just to tell people this already, if I learn this good then I will help others too even if it is just only nightmare or beginner, as long as I can help then it is all good

Spriting? As in just spriting? If so, then no, that's spriting, not hacking. xDD

which one would I have to go to to change sprites for characters?

You can put me in for the Advanced for FE6, FE7, and FE8. In the rare occasion someone actually needs advanced help, I'll be around to aid them. Just tell them to PM me.

I put you up there, however I'm unaware of how much you know about FE6's events amongst other things, so if you don't feel you are perfect for that I can put you on intermediate, or if you think you're set, then I won't change anything.

I added myself to FE6 to help that game out; still not for FE8 because I'm simply not familiar with it. FE6 is also simpler and similar to FE7 so.
