Copy-paste from FEU...
Anyways... Hi there...
I'm trying to expand the amount of classes that the game has... by repointing the Class table...
Looking at the Class Editor Nightmare module... it starts at the offset BE015C...

1 FE7 Class Editor by SpyroDi, modified by Arch the GK and Nintenlord 0xBE015C 99 84 FE7 Class Editor.txt NULL |
There are 99 entries of 84 (decimal) byte "slots"...
207C bytes long...
So naturally it ends at... BE21D8, right?
I paste it at the offset D01200, and then repoint the three pointers referencing the Class table to my new table...
It works fine and dandy, but since there's no "0x63" or "99" telling how big the table is, how does the game know how many slots there are?

Sorry, I didn't notice this, but did you ever get this remedied or anything?

If you could pull this off it'd be killer. Custom classes without sacrificing pre-existing ones.

^You could make use of other hardly-used ones and blank spaces anyway, there are plenty of those. Not to mention that people have already done class table expansion...
Anyway I remember seeing this at FEU but idk if it was ever resolved. D:

It was resolved on FEU and it was resolved years ago.
People have been capable of adding classes without overwriting existing ones with this method since forever.
The issue is apparently not too many people actually do.
And then I guess everyone forgot how to do it? Even though FEditor and Nightmare 2.0 both have the algorithms for it coded right into them.

That's like, not the point, Xeld. I guess explaining it to you wouldn't help much though. Whatever if it's resolved then that's great...

Actually is Eduardo supposed to lose a level when you get him back? he's level 2 when you first save him and then he's lv1 when you get him back. I was just wondering.
