I need more Anima on my team.
Artur has gone Bishop, Moulder is RNG-raped to death while kittens were being tossed in the oven. Ewan and L'Arachel is fail, Knoll is... Knoll. The only other Anima user I have is Lute, but she can't do everything herself.
This is a non-tower/ruin/skirmish runthrough. Should I use Saleh?
EDIT: Before you people go "omg how can moulder da boulder get screwed????" Here's how.
20/0
35 HP
10 Mag
11 Skill
13 Speed
4 Luck
4 Def
9 Res
Needless to say, all he is, pretty much, is a hunk of HP. That's it.

If you have the space in your team, then I'd say use him, seeing as the other characters went wrong, and he's fairly decent.

He's one of your best until about the desert chapter, where he becomes more average, and is still pretty good after that, so yeah, I'd use him.

O_O
Ewan and Ewan and L'Arachel is fail?!
How is that even possible?
Make Ewan a summoner and L'Arachel a mage knight. They were epic for me.

He's not tower abusing, so they're awful.
Also, PEMN.

Ewan is a trainee that comes way to late into the game, Without boss abusing, tower abusing or arena abusing there is no way he can turn out good, and Mercenary doesn't want to do anything of that so Ewan is fail.
L'arachel is the same story really, she comes really late for her class and level. There is no way to get her good without abusing.
and the second thing. notice that you said:
for meRNG can screw everyone around and while they may be very good for you, they can turn out very fail for me or someone else.
as for Mercenary, I would use Saleh. He ain't too bad in the long run and he already is a sage so staves and anima right away

Edit: damn you bblues, you keep answering before me xD

Speaking of Saleh, how do you all pronounce it?
Say-Lay?
Say-luh
..
He's good. If you don't want to use Ewan/Lute because of leveling or RNG screwage, then Saleh may be your only choice for a Sage- but Bishops can be a lot better than superior Sages simply because of the Slayer skill. So yeah, Saleh might be a good addition, having decent healing and offensive capability is good. I'd probably stick to having him heal, and he can defend himself just fine on the enemy phase because of his combat capability, but I'd leave monster killing to your Arthur.
Also, Tentacles. That is all.

Saleh has the lowest growths in the game, if you're short a sage use him but don't expect magic level ups

Saleh has the lowest total growths in the game?
Why not, he's pretty good. Use him if you want, don't use him if... you don't wanna use him. Yeah.
