Full Version: Continent Design

Out of all the game's continents which do you think has the best design?

(World maps can probably be found on Serenes Forest)

I liked Elibe's a bit because the islands, Arcadia, and Ilia made it more interesting. Magvel seemed like it just had the standard territories--the allies' main territory (Renais), a helping nation (Frelia), the opposing territory (Grado), a desert area (Jehanna), and a theocracy-based territory (Re... whatever it was called... >_>)

So aside from the theocracy and the merchant thing of Carcino it was pretty standard IMO. But it wasn't BAD at all.

Elibe seems kinda overused because it's in FE6 and FE7 and my hack.

Tellius didn't go well with me either. For FE9, there is the ally nation, Crimea, the enemy nation, Grado, and then the helping nation, Begnion. The sub-human nations made it more interesting and yet at the same time they seemed a bit insignificant do to their location. The main problem for me was me not being too fond of sub-humans.

I liked the original Tellius design a lot more than the used one. Elibe was okay, but I felt as though we understood a lot less about it than Tellius, which is why I like Tellius most. I haven't played enough of 4-5 to understand Jugdral, and we're told very little about 1,3, and 11's world, so I don't even know what it's like.

I liked Tellius, but I think it would have been a bit better if the main continent had been a bit smaller and there were more islands.

That's pretty much what the early map was =/

Jugdral map was ok. You had plenty of flatland, you had a snowy area, desert, a barren mountain area, and a place kinda like an island.
